Will Holshouser a développé sa propre approche à l'accordéon en tant quʼimprovisateur, compositeur et musicien. Il dirige son propre trio qui mène une carrière internationale et joue aussi avec Matt Munisteri et Brock Mumford et Septeto Roberto Rodriguez. Il a aussi travaillé avec Phillip Johnston, Lenny Pickett, Andy Statman, Dave Douglas, Brian Dewan, Jenny Scheinman, Le Raymond Scott Orchestrette, le Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra, lʼOrpheus Chamber Orchestra, le New York City Opera.
